The Walpole Family

Walpole luxury fine bone china tableware and giftware collections are designed and made in Burslem, Stoke on Trent, England - the home of Britain’s ceramic industry.

Pauline Walpole and her late husband, Robert, founded the business more than 30 years ago under the name Pollyanna China. Very much a family concern, Pauline together with sons Peter and Michael, have chosen the family name as the brand for their premium and bespoke collections of bone china table and giftware.

Their skill and expertise has been developed over many years supplying some of the most prestigious brands in ceramics as well as special commissions for Royal palaces.

By harnessing and cherishing the traditional skills of local ceramic artists and utilising the latest production technology in their new state of the art factory, Walpole can deliver a truly ‘Made in England’, bone china product of the highest standard. They have a passion for quality in all its forms, from the use of finest locally sourced raw materials through to design, manufacturing, and the highest level of personal customer service.
